This week Gary discusses the likely cut of the Fed Funds Rate by the Federal Reserve and what that may mean for stocks, specifically how Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) such as the iShares Lehman Aggregate Bond (AGG) may respond.  The topic is continued through a discussion of investing in the Euro through the CurrencyShares Euro Trust (FXE) and why it could benefit from a US interest rate cut.  Gary also discusses how single country exchange-traded funds show similarities to other sectors of global markets.  The specific examples explained in this segment are the iShares MSCI Australia Index (EWA) and the Materials Select Sector SPDR (XLB), the iShares MSCI Taiwan Index (EWT) and iShares S&P Global Technology (IXN), finally the iShares MSCI Canada Index (EWC) and the Energy Select Sector SPDR (XLE).
