Most investors recognize the importance of allocating a portion of their portfolios to foreign ETFs. Yet plenty of folks don't know how to go about gaining more exposure. That's where emerging market ETFs come in.

While the allocation may differ from person to person, all investors may wish to look at "key" countries that have outperformed the U.S. over a rolling 12 month period. Country ETFs like Chile, India and South Africa are worthy of consideraton.
