In the 70’s, many advisers recommended blue chip holdings in the U.S. They were called the “Nifty 50,” and they were viewed by many pros as the only stocks an investor required.
Fast forward to 2009, and you won’t hear a heck of a lot about nifty U.S stocks. Yet in India, a popular index (National Stock Exchange of India 50) is recognizable as the S&P CNX Nifty. Does it fit your investing needs?

,thanks for your help . You should ,one day , talk about if ETFs are short term or long term investment or maybe both .
