Some investors measure success against the S&P 500 alone. However, this may be a myopic way to view the world of stocks.
The S&P 500 only measures performance of large company stocks in the U.S.; it is not a terrific gauge for mid-sized, “smallish,” pint-sized or micro-caps. It follows that one might wish to consider when and how Micro-Cap ETFs should be used… either to diversify your portfolio or to give a jolt to overall returns.
